Pursuant to relaxation in lockdown norms and resumption in courier and postal services, importer/ exporter of Narcotic Drugs / Psychotropic Substances / Controlled Substance are required to revert to submission of physical copies of applications for import/ export along with requisite documents, wherever possible.
However, if you are situated in any area or city where the courier / postal services are non-operational or partial lockdown is in effect or offices are non-functional due to Containment Zone declared by a local authority, you may continue to submit the application by e-mail, on the email-ids provided below:

Ensure that the application and requisite documents are uploaded as a single pdf file;
Note: Application received on any other email-id will not be entertained.
While submitting the application by e-mail, ensure to submit declaration provided in Annexure ‘A’ of the appended Public Notice along with payment of licence fee / application fee online through NTRP (Non-Tax Receipt Portal) of https://bharatkosh.gov.in/ and submit self – attested copy of Challan along with the application.
Background:
Earlier, due to substantial delays during the period of lockdown, owing to non-operative status of the courier companies / speed post, the importer / exporter of Narcotic Drugs / Psychotropic Substances / Controlled Substances were allowed to submit scanned copies of applications along with self – authenticated copies of all documents (including import certificate) on the email id suptd-narco@cbn.nic.in/supdttech@cbn.nic.in/onkarmishra@cbn.nic.in from their registered email ids.
