By various notifications, the Labour Department of Andhra Pradesh (“Department”) has issued the list of holidays for the year 2020 in the following zones of Andhra Pradesh under the provisions of  Andhra Pradesh Shops and Establishments Act, 1988 and Andhra Pradesh Factories & Establishments (National Festival And Other Holidays) Act, 1974:

1. Notification dated 7^th December, 2019 for Zone I : Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam Districts.
2. Notification dated 13^th December, 2019 for Zone II : Districts of East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna.
3. Notification dated 11^th January, 2019 for Zone III : Districts of Guntur, Prakasam and S.p.S.Nellore.
4. Notification dated 5^th December, 2019 for Zone IV : Districts of Districts of Kurnool, Anantapur, Kadapa and Chittoor.

The Department has also declared holiday on 2^nd June, 2020 on account of Andhra Pradesh Formation Day by republishing the Notification dated 31^st October, 2014
