Govt. of Telangana implements automatic non-discretionary deemed renewal of license through online system (Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act in the State) in a move towards EODB

In a move towards Ease of Doing Business, the Government of Telangana has exempted applicability of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979 and sub-rules (1) and (2) of Rule 14 of the Telangana Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1982 in order to implement Automatic non-discretionary deemed renewal of license through online system without the requirement of filing of application for renewal, subject to payment of fee prescribed by the Government from time to time, within the time prescribed.

This is being done in view of the current circumstances and as a part of guidelines issued earlier as a part of Business Reform Action Plan-2019, for implementation of auto renewal system for registrations / licenses under certain Labour laws, in addition to the reforms already implemented by the Government.
