The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Haryana has, in an Order dated August 28, 2020 issued the revised rates for COVID-19 testing, to be followed by Private Laboratories in the State.
Private laboratories are directed to not charge any amount more than the following:
1. RTPCR Testing – Rs. 1600/- Per test
2. Rapid Antigen Testing – Rs. 650/- Per test
3. IgG Based ELISA testing – Rs. 250/- Per test
The ceiling price is inclusive of GST/ Taxes, cost involved in pick-up, packaging and transportation of samples, documentation and reporting.
The Laboratories conducting the COVID-19 testing are also directed to adhere to the previous guidelines and SOPs in this regard and must also follow the testing protocols laid down by ICMR and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
