Haryana Health Department reduces testing rates for RtPCR Testing and Rapid Antigen Testing in continuation of its earlier notification

The Department of Health and Family Welfare Haryana (“Department”) has, in an Order dated October 29, 2020, further revised the rates for conducting COVID-19 tests charged by private laboratories.

The present Order has been issued taking into consideration the advice of experts as well as the cost of kits and consumable and the consent of leading private laboratories. Under the present Order the Department has reduced the rates of COVID testing for the following 2 categories:

  1. RtPCR Testing – Rs 900/ – (Earlier was Rs.1200/-)
  2. Rapid Antigen Testing – Rs. 500/- (Earlier was Rs. 650/-)

The rest of the rates remain the same as follows:

  1. CBNAAT Testing – Rs. 2400/-
  2. TrueNat Testing – Rs. 2000/-
  3. IgG based ELISA Testing – Rs. 250/-

It is reiterated that, all the laboratories conducting COVID-19 testing have been directed to adhere to the guidelines and SOPs mentioned in the earlier Orders, and follow all testing protocols laid down by ICMR and MoHFW, Govt. of India from time to time.
