Kerala PCB notifies distance criteria for multiple DG sets to control air and noise pollution; comes into effect immediately

The Kerala State Pollution Control Board has, through a Circular dated 10th November 2020, notified the distance criteria for multiple DG sets as specified below:

“The minimum distance from all the DG sets to the nearest residence/institution shall not be less than √(kVA/2). where kVA (kilo volt ampere) is the value of the highest capacity DG set”.
