The Maharashtra Government, through a Gazette Notification dated 24th September, 2020, has notified the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Calling and Employments (Amendment) Act, 2020 thereby repealing the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Calling and Employments (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020.
The Amendment is deemed to have gained effect on 22nd July, 2020.
