The Uttar Pradesh Labour Department in its website uplabour.gov.in has issued an Office Memorandum dated 28th June, 2018 announcing the following steps under “Ease of Doing Business” :-
* Fees / payments for obtaining registration under the Uttar Pradesh Shops and Establishment Rules, 1962 will be done in online mode only.
* Registration Certificate will be issued online once the fees are paid online.
* The practice of paying the Registration Fees offline through treasury challan under the Uttar Pradesh Shops and Establishment Rules, 1962 will be discontinued with immediate effect.
