In a Notification dated 10th January, 2020, the Directorate of Registration and Stamp Revenue of the Government of West Bengal (“Directorate”) has informed that, for smooth and hassle free business promotion in the State, it will issue only one single e-stamp for any number of paid challan issued by the Government Receipt Portal System (GRIPS), in respect of one particular GRN (Government Reference Number), upon receipt of the requisite payment via the website of Directorate of Registration and Stamp Revenue, West Bengal (https://wbregistration.gov.in).
The Directorate has further informed that it will facilitate for issuance of e-stamp of any denomination as required for the purpose of registration of new company with the Registrar of Companies under Ministry of Company Affairs, Government of India.
