Legal Manager (Pharmaceutical and Healthcare)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced legal professional with a strong background in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector to join our compliance management team. The role involves advising clients on regulatory compliance, monitoring legal risks, and ensuring adherence to applicable pharma laws, industry codes, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advisory to clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.
• Interpret and implement regulations issued by authorities such as CDSCO, NPPA, and other applicable regulators.
• Advise on compliance with laws governing drugs, medical devices, clinical trials, pricing, marketing, and distribution.
• Develop and manage compliance frameworks, checklists, and compliance calendars for clients.
• Monitor regulatory updates, circulars, and policy changes, and assess their impact on client operations.
• Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses for pharmaceutical companies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely closure of compliance requirements.
• Contribute to training modules, compliance content, and knowledge management initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Medical Device Rules, and pricing regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and assignments simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven approach.

Qualification

• LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university
• 6–7 Years of relevant industry experience
