Kerala Pollution Control Board revises the category of industries under Red / Orange / Green / White; effective since 10th February, 2022
The Kerala State Pollution Control Board (“Board”) has issued a revised categorization of industries under Red / Orange / Green / White as per the direction of Central Pollution Control Board as these were not included in the previous categorization list.
Some units were brought before the categorization committee meetings held on 05/02/2022. Accordingly, the recommendations were approved and the industries / activities have been categorized below. The application for consent to operate / registration shall be processed based on the following:
