Application, processing and issuing of authorization for generation, collection, reception, treatment, storage, transport, and disposal of biomedical waste will happen through XGN portal for KSPCB

State Pollution Control Board, Karnataka has informed that provision has been made in XGN Software for online receipt of application, processing and issuing of authorization for generation, collection, reception, treatment, storage, transport, and disposal of biomedical waste under the provisions of the Biomedical Waste Management Rules, 2016.

Further, it has been informed that the manuals on processing of applications through the XGN Software will be sent to concerned offices.

For applicants, the manual is made available on the website of the Board at https://kspcb.karnataka.gov.in/xgnonline-consent-application

The said notification has gained effect on 10th October, 2022.
