Kolkata Municipal Corporation mandates display of Bengali language on top of signboards, signages and hoardings; deadline is 30th September 2025
The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (“KMC”) has issued a circular regarding display of Bengali at top of the signboards, signages and hoardings in a prominent size in addition to other language. The timeline to comply with the requirement is till 30th September 2025.
Background:
Vide Circular no. 63 dated 30th December 2024 KMC decided that it is mandatory to write Bengali language on top of the signboards, signages and hoardings alongside any other languages.
