CAQM extends alternate fuel use relaxation for NCR establishments till 13th September 2026

The Commission for Air Quality Management (“CAQM”) has extended the temporary permission to industries / hotels / restaurants / other enterprises in NCR to use alternate fuels, such as High Speed Diesel (“HSD”), Biomass and Refuse-Derived Fuel (“RDF”) pellets, and in case of limitation in availability of such alternative fuel, coal or kerosene, in place of natural gas, till 13^th September 2026 or until normalcy in gas supplies is restored or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
