Amendments proposed to the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986 ; revision to emission standards of boilers ; public comments and suggestions invited within 26th August, 2022

Amendments proposed to Schedule I of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986; new emission parameters and standards are underway for industrial boilers as against the current standards.

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has invited comments and suggestions on the Draft Amendment from the public within 26th August, 2022 i.e. on or after the expiry of a period of 60 days from the date on which the Draft Amendment has been made published in the official Gazette.

Comments and suggestions may be sent in writing, for consideration of the Central Government within the period specified above to the Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, Jor Bagh Road, New Delhi-110003, or send it to the e-mail address: mscb.cpcb@nic.in and sonu.singh@gov.in.
