Before making an application for issue of Health Certificate the applicability of the HS Codes are to be verified
In continuation to what we reported in the trailing e-mail, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has issued an advisory stating that before an application is made for the issue of Health Certificate a verification is to be done with regard to the applicability of the HS Codes in line with the food products as specified under the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011.
