Depository Participants must conduct VAPT for FY 2022-23 by 15th December, 2022 and fix all vulnerabilities by 25th March, 2023
National Securities Depository Limited (“NSDL”) has mandated Depository Participants to carry out Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Tests (“VAPT”) on or before December 15, 2022 for FY 2022-23. The VAPT report must be submitted within one month from the date of completion of VAPT after approval from Technology Committee of respective Participants. Participants are requested to email the VAPT report to NSDL at vaptnsdl@nsdl.co.in.
Additionally, Participants must fix all the vulnerabilities reported in the VAPT and conduct revalidation assessment and submit the report to NSDL on or before March 25, 2023.
Going forward Participants must conduct VAPT by August – September of every financial year and the final VAPT report must be submitted to NSDL within one month from the date of completion of VAPT after approval from Technology Committee of respective Participants.
