FINGATE 2.0 portal has been released in production mode to enable the Reporting Entities to file necessary reports; informs Finance Ministry

Ministry of Finance has issued a notification communicating that FINGATE 2.0 portal (https://www.findate.qov.in) will be released in production mode to enable the Reporting Entities (RE) to file the necessary reports from 22nd March, 2023 onwards.

The Reporting Entities (REs) can start filing the corresponding reports on the FINGATE 2.0 system from this date itself. As a part of handholding exercise and to enable smooth transitioning from FINGATE 1.0 to FINGATE 2.0, the following guidelines are issued for REs:

• FINGATE 1.0 portal (https://finnetsiovin) shall not be closed and the REs can file their reports on FINGATE 1.0 portal or FINGATE 2.0 portal till 30th April, 2023 only in the corresponding report formats only. However, REs are advised not to file the same reports on both FINNET 1.0 and FINNET 2.0 simultaneously.
• No new registration of RE shall be done in FINGate1.0.
• Rejection/processing alerts in respect of reports filed on FINGATE 1.0 from 22nd March, 2023 shall not be visible on FINGATE 1.0. The REs shall be notified of the same subsequently later.

In view of the above, the REs who have not completed their registration on FINGATE 2.0 portal are advised to complete the same at the earliest to enable to file reports accordingly.
