FSSAI publishes FSS (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) 6th Amendment Regulations, 2021; FBOs to comply with the specified fatty acid composition of ghee post 27-12-2023

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (“FSSAI”) has published the FSS (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Sixth Amendment Regulations, 2021 (“Amendment Regulations “).
The amendments have been tabulated below for the ease of your reference-

The amendment prescribes that Food Business Operator are required to comply with all the provisions of the Regulations by 1st July, 2022.
The Food Business Operators are mandated to comply with the specified fatty acid composition of ghee post 27th December, 2023. |
