FSSAI re-operationalizes certain provision relating to Crude Corn (maize) Oil under the Draft FSS (Food Product standards and Food Additives) Amendment Regulations, 2022

Since the finalisation of Draft FSS (Food Product standards and Food Additives) Amendment Regulations, 2022 ( “Draft 2022 Regulations”) is likely to take some more time before being notified, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India ( “FSSAI”) has decided to re-operationalize the provision relating to Crude Corn ( maize) Oil under the Draft 2022 Regulations with effect from 20TH December 2022 with a view to allow the Food Business Operators (“FBOs”) to import crude corn maize oil.
