FSSAI replaces the practice of submitting quarterly returns by Manufacturer- Exporters; requires them to submit Annual Return for the F.Y 2021-22 by 31st May, 2022, through the FoSCoS portal
The Food Safety and Standards Authority has directed the Manufacturer-Exporters to submit Annual returns for the food business activities conducted by them in the F.Y. 2021-2022 by 31st May, 2022. It has been further clarified that, only returns submitted through the FoSCoS portal will be considered.
Previously, the Manufacturer-Exporters were required to submit quarterly returns and only the licensed Manufacturers and Importers submitted the Annual return as per the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulation, 2011.
