Haryana Govt. extends restrictions prescribed under ‘Mahamari Alert-Surakshit Haryana’ up to 28th January 2022 (05:00 a.m.)

In continuation to an Order dated 13th January 2022 (summarized in the trailing e-mail), in view of the exponential rise in COVID-19 positive cases, the Haryana State Disaster Management Authority has extended the restrictions prescribed under ‘Mahamari Alert-Surakshit Haryana’ up to 28th January 2022 (05:00 a.m.).
Key Highlights:
- Private Offices except for emergency / essential services, are advised to function with 50% staff attendance;
- All cinema halls, theatres, multiplexes shall remain closed;
- All sports complexes, stadiums, swimming pools shall remain closed (except being used for training of sports persons for participation in National / International sports events as well as for organizing National / International sports events). No Spectators or visitors are to be allowed;
- All entertainment parks and B2B exhibitions are prohibited;
- Bars and Restaurants are allowed to operate with 50% seating capacity;
- Malls and Markets are allowed to open up to 06:00 PM. However, shops of essential supplies like milk/medical shops are allowed to open at all times to enable them to serve the public at large;
- Large Congregations like all kinds of Public meetings, Rallies, Dharnas, Protests, etc. shall be prohibited in the State;
- Gyms and spas shall operate with 50% capacity utilisation;
- Liquor vends shall be allowed to be open till 10:00 p.m.;
Any person violating the above-mentioned measures will be liable to be proceeded against under the Disaster Management Act and other legal provisions as applicable.
