MCA amends the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules 2014, effective from 23rd January, 2023
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has amended Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules 2014 which will be effective from 23rd January 2023. The Rules have issued new formats for Form DIR-3 , Form DIR-4, Form DIR-5, Form DIR-6, Form DIR-8, Form DIR-9, Form DIR-10, Form DIR-11, Form DIR-12.
The following are the forms that are substituted :
| Form DIR-3 | Application for allotment of Director Identification Number before appointment in an existing company or LLP |
| Form DIR-4 | Verification of an applicant for application for DIN |
| Form DIR-5 | Application for surrender of Director Identification Number |
| Form DIR-6 | Intimation of change in particulars of Director/Designated Partner to be given to the Central Government |
| Form DIR-8 | Intimation by Director |
| Form DIR-9 | Report by the company to Registrar |
| Form DIR-10 | Form of Application for Removal of Disqualification of Directors |
| Form DIR-11 | Notice of resignation of a director to the Registrar |
| Form DIR-12 | Particulars of appointment of directors and the key managerial personnel and the changes among them |
