MPCB issues revised timelines for grant or refusal of consent for various category of industry in Maharashtra
The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (“MPCB”) as part of it’s Ease of Doing Business (“EODB”) reforms, has revised the timeline for grant or refusal various types of applications as per the timeframe for various categories of industrial sector as mentioned in the table below:

| 2 | Orange | Consent to Establish – 45 Consent to Operate – 60 Renewal of Consent – 60 | 24 |
| 3 | Red | Consent to Establish – 60 Consent to Operate – 90 Renewal of Consent – 120 | 40 |
It supersedes the previous timeline for grant or refusal of consent as mentioned in the earlier circular (reference to the mail in trail). However, the other provisions in case of penal fees as mentioned in the previous Circular (reference to the mail in trail), will remain unchanged.
