Portal for grant/renewal of EPR Authorization/Registration under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 made operational

The Central Pollution Control Board (“CPCB”), by way of a Public Notice has informed that the portal for grant/renewal of Extended Producer Responsibility (“EPR”) Authorization/Registration under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 (“Rules”) has been made operational and is available at the following URL (https://eprewastecpcb.in/).

In view of this, the EPR-Authorization / Producer Responsibility Organization (“PRO”)-registration / Registration of Service providers/Bulk-consumers/ Manufacturers under the Rules will be done only through this portal and all the stakeholders namely Producers, PROs, recyclers, dismantlers, refurbishers, manufactures and bulk consumers are required to register on this portal to get login credentials, post which instructions regarding filing of application will be available which must be referred to before filing application on the portal.

[Note: After login, a *Producer is required to look at the menu on the left of the screen, to check whether their service providers (PRO/ Recycler/ Dismantlers) are already registered on this

portal. If not, they are required to ask their service providers to get registered on the portal. In the absence of the details of service providers in their application, the application for EPR authorization shall be considered as incomplete.]
