Telangana Govt. notifies list of national and festival holidays for the year 2023; applicable to employees working in factories, shops and establishments in specified Districts

The Labour Department of Telangana has notified the list of national and festival holidays under the following laws, which would qualify as holidays with wages for the calendar year 2023:
• Telangana Shops and Establishments Act, 1988
• Telangana Factories and Establishments (National, Festival and other Holidays) Act, 1974
The list of holidays would apply to all employees working in factories, shops and establishments located in Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Medak, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Siddipet, Sanagreddy, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Nalgonda, Yadadri-Bhongir, Suryapet, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba-Gadwal and Narayanpet Districts.
