Andhra Pradesh Govt. extends Covid-19 restrictions till 28th February 2022; Night Curfew to continue from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am

After a thorough review of the Covid-19 situation, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued the following restrictions to curb the spread of Covid-19 till 28th February 2022;
1. Night Curfew shall be imposed on a daily basis from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am;
2. Wearing of masks in public places shall be compulsory for all individuals. All establishments, shops and firms shall ensure the wearing of masks and following of necessary Covid protocol in the premises.
[Note: Any individual not wearing a mask will attract a penalty of Rs. 100/- and non-compliance with the Covid protocols in any establishment, firm or shop will attract a penalty of Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 25,000/- depending on the intensity of the offence. Also, in case of gross violation, the market or establishment shall be closed for one or two days].
The Collectors, District Magistrates, Commissioners and Superintendents of Police shall ensure strict compliance with the above-mentioned Orders in the State.
