West Bengal Govt. extends the last date of e-filing return of Professional Tax in Form III till 31st May, 2023; submission in paper / physical form may be done by 7th June, 2023
The Directorate of Commercial Taxes, Government of West Bengal has extended the date of filing return in Form-III under West Bengal State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1979 (“Act”) and Rules for the year ending on the 31st of March, 2023.
The last date of filing return in Form-III in electronic and paper form has been extended as follows –

Employers registered under the Act are permitted to electronically transmit data of the return by 31st May, 2023 and furnish paper form of such return by 7th June, 2023.
