FSSAI re-operationalizes certain provisions under the FSS (Health Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Food for Special Dietary Use, Food for Special Medical Purpose and Prebiotic and Probiotic Food), Regulations, 2022; effective since 1st April 2023

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has issued directions to re-operationalize some provision of the FSS (Health Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Food for Special Dietary Use, Food for Special Medical Purpose and Prebiotic and Probiotic Food), Regulations, 2022 with effect from 1st April, 2023 as the finalisation of Draft 2022 regulations is likely to take some more time before being notified.
