MHA withdraws the Delhi Eating Houses Registration Regulations, 2023 with immediate effect
The Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Delhi vide order dated 19.06.2025 has withdrawn the sanction granted to the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, for issuance of regulations under the Delhi Police Act, 1978 for registration and licensing of eating houses. Pursuant to the aforesaid order, the Ministry of Home Affairs (“MHA”) has issued a notification withdrawing the Delhi Eating Houses Registration Regulations, 2023 with immediate effect.
