SEBI extends due date for conducting Accessibility Audit till October 31, 2026

Key Highlights:

the Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”) has issued a circular providing guidelines for the completion of the mandatory compliances to be done by Regulated Entities (“RE”) under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The circular provides the formats for the submission of the compliance requirements.

• For the REs having multiple Digital Platforms, the audit reports for the digital platforms shall be consolidated and submitted through email as per guidelines Through the circular SEBI has provided the formats for the submission of reports to the reporting authorities
• All REs except stockbrokers, Depository Participants, Investment Advisor and Research Analyst must share their submissions to SEBI through email on digital_acc@sebi.gov.in.
