All employers in Haryana registering through MCA portal to start compliance of various applicable provisions of ESI Act, 1948 from the date of reaching threshold limit of employees

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (“ESIC”) has instructed all employers in Haryana that all companies/establishments/factories registering through MCA portal to start compliance of various applicable provisions of ESI Act, 1948 from the date of reaching threshold limit of employees.

In case the companies registered through MCA portal are not coming under the purview of Statutory Provisions of the ESI Act, they need not make compliance for next 6 months or till they reach the threshold of ESIC coverage, whichever is earlier. If the company does not reach the threshold in these six months, they have to login in the ESIC website to further extend the ‘dormant’ mode. In case they immediately do not extend the above mode, the registration will automatically be activated, and the company has to start compliance under ESIC Act.
