Amendments notified to Madhya Pradesh Professional Tax Rules; provides for electronic / online filing of application for grant of registration certificate through the official web portal of the Commercial Tax Department

The Government of Madhya Pradesh has notified amendments to the Madhya Pradesh Professional Tax Rules, 1955.

With the present amendment gaining effect, an application for grant of registration certificate under the Madhya Pradesh Professional Tax Act, 1995 is required to be furnished by an employer electronically in Form I on the official web portal of the Department (www.mptax.mo.gov.in) as per the instructions provided on the web portal.
