CDSCO rolls out updated list of medical devices pertaining to rehabilitation under the Medical Devices Rules, 2017
In continuation to what we reported earlier (please refer to the e-mails in trail), Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (“CDSCO”) has updated the List of Medical Devices Pertaining to Rehabilitation (“Appendix A”) specified in the First Schedule of the Medical Devices Rules, 2017.
The updated list classifies the medical devices basis the intended use, risk associated with the device and other parameters specified in the First Schedule of the Medical Devices Rules, 2017.
