Commission of Air Quality Management in National Capital Region revokes the ban on registered diesel operated Medium and Heavy Goods Vehicles and other such activities in Delhi under Stage IV of the GRAP

In reference to what we have reported earlier, the Commission of Air Quality Management in National Capital Region ( “Commission”) has decided to revoke the ban on registered diesel operated Medium and Heavy Goods Vehicles in Delhi  and other such activities ( as mentioned in the trail mail below) under Stage-IV of the Graded Response Action Plan ( “GRAP”) with immediate effect.

 Actions under Stage I, II and III of the GRAP will however remain invoked and be implemented, monitored, and reviewed by all agencies concerned in the entire NCR to ensure that the AQI levels do not slip further to the ‘Severe’/ ‘Severe +’ category.
