District Magistrate of Gandhinagar issues COVID-19 guidelines for implementation in the District; two doses of vaccine mandatory for owners, administrators, employees and all individuals involved in economic activities

The Government of Gujarat has notified the following guidelines for implementation in Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation / cities as well as in the entire Gandhinagar district:
1. Two doses of vaccine will be mandatory for owners, administrators, employees as well as all individuals involved in all economic activities .
2. All types of political, social (including marriage), educational, cultural, religious programs, sports activities, all other public functions, auditoriums, assembly halls and recreational places can remain open with a maximum of 75% of the capacity of the place (in outdoor events) and 50% of the capacity of the place for indoor events. Going forward, marriage ceremonies will not require registration on “DIGITAL GUJARAT PORTAL”.
3. Further, the below mentioned National Directives for COVID 19 should also be adhered to-
a. Face Covering- Compulsory in public place, workplace and during transport
b. Social Distancing- Individual must maintain a minimum of 6ft distance in public places. Shops should ensure physical distancing among customers.
c. Spitting in public places will be a punishable offence.
4. During the period of night curfew, the following things should be taken into consideration –
a. Sick persons, pregnant women, disabled persons shall be allowed to move with the attendant for treatment.
b. Passengers must be allowed to travel by presenting train, airport, or city bus tickets.
c. No public ceremonies such as political, social, educational, cultural, religious programs may be held during the night time period.
d. Persons who have come out in unavoidable circumstances will have to give permission for movement by presenting their identity card, doctor’s prescription, treatment papers and other evidence.
5. The following services / activities may be continued during the night curfew period:
a. Internet / telephone / mobile service provider / IT/ITes related Services
b. Medical, paramedical and allied health care
c. Oxygen production and distribution system,
d. Print and Electronic Media, Newspaper Distribution.
e. Petrol, Diesel, LPG. / CNG / PNG related pumps, operation of production unit, port of loading, terminal depots, plants and related transportation, distribution and repairing services Post and courier service,
f. Private Security Service.
g. Services related to animal feed, fodder and animal medicine and treatment.
h. Production, transportation and supply arrangements for agricultural operations, pest control and other essential services.
i. All services related to transportation, storage, and distribution of all the above essential items.
j. Transport services related to transportation, storage and distribution of interstate, inter-district and inter-city trade and related e-commerce services.
