Employers of all industrial groups, corporations, companies and institutions, industrial undertakings or other establishments in Maharashtra are directed to grant a paid holiday to their employees in accordance with the provisions of *Section 135B of the Representation of Peoples Act, 1951, on the following days in the said Lok Sabha constituencies:

In the event, it is not possible to grant a full day’s leave, prior permission is required to be obtained from the concerned Collector and District Election Officer and in any case, such establishments will have to ensure that the employees (registered as voters) are provided with 2 hours of concession for voting.
Appropriate action will be taken against violators.
