The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (“MoEFCC”) has proposed to issue Draft Environment Audit Notification (“Draft notification”). The Draft Notification is applicable for environmental audit of the projects, activities and processes which have to obtain environmental clearances and/or approvals from the Central Government or from the State Government under any Act or Rules or Regulations pertaining to Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

Objections or suggestions on the Draft Notification are invited by 1st April, 2024. It should be sent to the Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, Jor Bagh Road, Aliganj, New Delhi-110 003, or to the e-mail address at cea-moefcc@gov.in.

5. Certification of Environmental Auditors
6. Registration of Certification of Environmental Auditors (CEA)
7. Eligibility criteria for Certification of Environment Auditors (CEA) and Empanelment of Environment Audit firms and Registration as prescribed by EADA in their guidelines.
8. Formation of Committee for Environment Auditing Framework under Environment Auditing Notification
