ESIC relaxes time limit for depositing contribution for March 2022 till 30.04.22 and for filing Return of contribution (for the period October, 2021 to March, 2022) upto 26.05.2022

In a recent notice dated 13^th April, 2022, the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has announced a one-time opportunity cum relaxation in time limit for employers to file and deposit ESI contribution for the period March, 2022 by 30^th  April, 2022 instead of 15th April, 2022

Consequent to this extension, employers are also permitted to file the Return of Contribution up to 26^th May, 2022 instead of 11^th May, 2022 for the Contribution period  October 2021 to March 2022.
