Governor of Bihar fixes rates of minimum wage and variable dearness allowance for General Employment workers from 1st October, 2022

The Governor of Bihar under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 has fixed the rates of minimum wage and variable dearness allowance for different categories of employees employed in scheduled employments effective from 1st October, 2022. These include workers in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry, Paper Industry, Electronics Industry, Plywood Industries, Shops or Establishment, Information Technology, among others.
