Haryana Government declares 9th November, 2022 and 12th November, 2022 to be holidays with wages for workers enrolled in selected districts owing to General elections
The Labour Department, Government of Haryana (“Department”) has informed that Wednesday i.e. 9th November, 2022 (for Districts namely, Ambala, Charkhi Dadri, Gurugram, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa and Sonipat) and Saturday i.e. 12th November, 2022 for the districts (except for Gram Panchayat Sambalkha of Block Ladwa District Kurukshetra) to be the holidays with wages for all the workers/employees enrolled as voters in Zila Parishads, Panchayat Samitis and Gram Panchayats working in all the shops and commercial establishments within the State of Haryana to enable them to cast their votes.
