The Labour and Skills Department, Kerala (“Department”) has notified the Kerala Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2025 (“Amendment Rules”) to further amend the Kerala Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1983 (“Principal Rules”). The Amendment Rules revises the fees to be paid for the grant of Certificate of Registration and licence of an establishment and introduces payment of security deposit per workmen for grant of licence.

- The Amendment Rules revises the fees to be paid for the grant of Certificate of Registration of an establishment for the number of migrant workmen proposed to be employed in the establishment on any day, as given below:

- The Amendment Rules further revises the fees payable under the Principal Rules, for grant of licence basis the number of migrant workmen recruited or employed by the contractor on any day, as given below:

- The Amendment Rules revises the fees payable for issuance of duplicate certificate of registration if the certificate of registration or licence is lost, defaced or accidentally destroyed to Rs. 55.
