MCA extends the timeline for filing of Financial Statements and Annual Return for the F.Y. 2024-25

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) through its recent circular, has extended the timeline for filing Financial Statements and Annual Return for the financial year 2024-25 upto December 31, 2025.

Accordingly, Companies may submit the following annual filings for the F.Y. 2024-25, without payment of additional fees upto December 31, 2025,

• MGT-7/MGT-7A
• AOC-4
• AOC-4 CFS
• AOC-4 NBFC (Ind AS)
• AOC-4 CFS NBFC (Ind AS)
• AOC-4 XBRL

Additionally, MCA has clarified that fee-waiver changes for filing annual forms are currently under development and are expected to be completed by middle of next week. Companies whose filing due dates have either already passed or fall during this period are advised to kindly take note of the forthcoming changes and plan their filings accordingly.

Note: Any filings made after the validity of the circular shall attract payment of all fees, including additional fees as provided in the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014.
