MCA notifies revised e-Form No. RD-1 under Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014; effective from 15.09.2025

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”) has notified Companies (Incorporation) Second Amendment Rules, 2025. Existing e-form No. RD-1 stands substituted with the new e-form. The updated e-form shall be effective from September 15, 2025.

The Form RD-1 is an application form used by companies to submit requests for approval to the Central Government’s Regional Director under the Companies Act 2013 for various purposes, including changing the company’s name, changing its financial year, or converting a public limited company into a private one.
