MCA revises e-Form INC-22A used for ‘Active Company Tagging Identities and Verification’; Effective from 14th July, 2025

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”) has notified the Companies (Incorporation) Amendment Rules, 2025 amending the provisions of Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014. The Amendment Rules substitute Form INC-22A which is used to verify and tag the companies as “Active” by confirming the correctness of their registered office details. This is effective from 14th July, 2025.
