With respect to our “Update” reported on 15th September 2025 in relation to “Ministry of Commerce and Industry notifies Boiler Accident Inquiry Rules, 2025; prescribes procedure for inquiry committees to investigate boiler-related accidents. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has notified the Boiler Accident Inquiry Rules, 2025 (“Rules”) with immediate effect. The Rules lay down the procedure to be followed by the Inquiry Committee upon receiving a report of an accident involving a boiler or boiler component.
