Ministry of Steel extends the last date for submission of applications under the ‘Production Linked Incentive (“PLI”) Scheme for Specialty Steel’ till 30th April, 2022

With a view to enable wider industry participation, the Ministry of Steel has extended the last date for submission of applications for the Production Linked Incentive (“PLI”) Scheme for Specialty Steel till 30th April, 2022.
Background:
Earlier, basis requests from various Industry associations, industry players, potential applicants and the relevant stakeholders, the Ministry of Steel had partially modified the “Guidelines for Production Linked Incentive Scheme” and notified as follows:
1. M/s Mecon had been appointed as the Project Management Agency (“PMA”) to whom the application was required to be submitted.
2. The date of inviting application: 29th December, 2021
3. The last date of submission of application was: 29th March, 2022
4. The URL for the online Application Window for submission of application: plimos.meconlimited.co.in
