PESO integrates application modules for approvals / licences with the National Single Window System (NSWS) Portal; directs stakeholders to submit PESO applications for approval only through NSWS portal

Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (“PESO”) has notified the integration of PESO and National Informatics Centre (“NIC”) application modules for all approvals / licences with the National Single Window System (“NSWS”) Portal. All stakeholders are requested to use the NSWS portal extensively and submit their applications through NSWS portal only.

A detailed list of PESO applications that are integrated with NSWS portal along with the applications proposed to be integrated are listed in the Notification.

Background:

Ministry of Commerce and Industry has developed a NSWS Portal [https://www.nsws.gov.in/] i.e., a digital platform for guidance of investors to identify and to apply for approval as per their business requirements. The Portal is built to serve a single window platform for identifying approvals based on user input and further guidance for submission of applications by investors.

PESO has launched online paperless application submission and approval process for all the approvals / licenses issued under the various Rules administered by PESO.
