Shops or establishments in Delhi seeking exemption from restriction on engaging young persons and women at night, opening and closing hours etc. directed to file application only through online portal
The Labour Department of Delhi has notified that shops or establishments seeking exemption from provisions related to “Restriction on engaging young person and women at night”, “opening and closing hours” and “Close Day” under the Delhi Shops and Establishment Act, 1954 (“Act”) are now required to file such applications for the same on the portal https://dlabourwelfareboard.delhi.gov.in/shopexemption/ launched by the Labour Department, NCT Delhi with effect since 8th August, 2022.
