West Bengal lifts Covid-19 induced restrictions in light of reduced positivity rates; health and hygiene protocols to continue; employers to ensure regular sanitisation of workplaces

The Government of West Bengal has withdrawn all Covid-19 induced restrictions considering the decline in caseload and positivity rates in the State. However, advisories in respect of health and hygiene protocols including wearing of masks at all times, hand hygiene and sanitisation of public places is required to be observed.

Employers / management bodies / owners / supervisors of all offices, establishments and workplaces will be responsible for provisioning of all Covid – 19 safety measures including regular sanitisation of workplaces and ensuring Covid appropriate norms.
